Im Gespräch mit dem Deutschlandfunk habe ich gesagt, dass mit der Finanzierung von Sicherheitskräften in Nordafrika der Tod von Menschen in Kauf genommen wird. Das ist moralisch verwahrlost, aber eben die Politik, die man unterstützt, wenn Menschen verschleppt und in der Wüste ausgesetzt werden. Zum Deutschlandfunk.
Devex: Fehlende Kontrolle über EU-Gelder für Migrationssteuerung
Die EU verstößt gegen ihre eigenen Richtlinien, indem sie mehr als die vereinbarten 10% ihres Entwicklungshilfebudgets zur Eindämmung “unerwünschter” Migration benutzt. Hier fehlt es ganz klar an parlamentarischer Kontrolle: Es wird nicht einmal offengelegt, inwiefern die Gelder möglicherweise Menschenrechtsverletzungen mitfinanzieren. Wir Grünen fordern daher, dass der Europäische Rechnungshof diese Ausgaben überprüft – das habe ich auch DEVEX so gesagt (Paywall).
