I have criticized the agreement of the Interior Ministers in the Council on the Common European Asylum System. The bottom line is that it is not really clear what will be improved. Overall, it looks as if the Council is primarily trying to simulate the ability to act instead of really improving anything. You can find the entire conversation here.
